When, where and how did the band come
together : We were abducted over 6 weeks ago and
sent back through time to become ourselves.....seriously.
Best description of your sound to
someone who is yet to hear you would be : Kind of
a mix between Ace of Base and... Ace of Base.
What is your latest release, give
it a plug, tell us about it. We haven't named it
yet but we're leaning towards live from new york it's saturday night.
Favorite song to play live, and why?
The Grim Goodbye... Because it jams hard.
If you could go back in time and
write any one song what would it be? Wonder Boy
by Tenacious D, because it rocks my socks off.
Most memorable moment / best achievement
with the band to date would be : Getting DJ's all
over the world to pronounce our band name as poorly as imaginable.
Have you toured with any of the Soundwave
bands before? If so, give us a quick story. Actually
this going to be our first tour ever!!! I hope it goes well (keep
your fingers crossed for us :) Ha j/k but what if it was?
Which bands on the Soundwave lineup
are you most likely to be found partying with after the show?
I don't know about you guys, but I'm gonna be hangin' with the one
and only Jon Wilkes. That's right I said Yonnie Sphvinns.
Who in your band is the party animal?
No animals here, only eukaryotic organisms.
You haven't been to Australia before,
what have you been told to expect? No, but I might
have lived there once. Probably being born and then stolen by a
dingo and smuggled on the boat to America where I assumed a false
identity.
Thing you are most looking forward
to about coming to Australia this summer? I really
do have some family there. It will be nice to meet them.
Is there anything you "just have
to do" while you are in Australia? It.
If the rider fairy was to grant you
one wish, what would be awaiting you backstage at the festival?
I like chicken wings, not too spicy though... they have to be just
right.
You should catch us when we play
Soundwave because... If you don't I will swallow
your soul, ha j/k but Bruce Campbell might.
