When, where and how did the band come
together : We kinda came together in about 1999
in florida. We were just a bunch of kids that went to the same shows
and we all were in other bands that were real shitty but we wanted
to do something that the bands we were in werent doing. We wanted
to not be shitty. So we started paying together and we were shitty
for a while at first. It eventually came around and through about
2342342 line up changes here we are. Still kinda shitty but getting
better with age.
Best description of your sound to
someone who is yet to hear you would be... I would
say it sounds like a knife fight between two geriatics.
Someone who isn't too familiar with
your stuff, which release would you suggest they start with?
I would start with our live album "PTW Live at Budokan, out
of tune and on time" but thats a turkish release only. So prolly
our last record 'versions' just cause its our last record and I
like it the best.
What is your latest release, give
it a plug, tell us about it. Versions, its got banjos.
Favourite song to play live.. and
why? Letter Thing cause its fast and usually sounds
like a big mess.
If you could go back in time and write
any one song.. what would it be.. a change gonna
come.
Most memorable moment / best achievement
with the band to date would be... Recently I would
have to say, getting played on the
country station at sirius radio.
Have you toured with any of the Soundwave bands before? If so, give
us a quick story.. We've toured with a lot of them.
A quick story would have to be that the buckley brothers love covering
themselves in sauces and dips of various natures.

Who in your band is the party animal?
Give us a quick story on antics of the past.. Me,
I get a lil tipsy and tend to just be messy. Jeff threw me in a
trashcan of broken glass once.. I deserved it.
You have been to Australia before...
What's the memory most stuck in your mind... One
thing is definitely going on a backlot tour of the melbourne zoo.
The beaches at gold coast were amazing, it was the only beaches
i saw so im comparing it to florida which is pretty fuckin sweet
but gold coast won hands down. The shows being immensely fun.
Thing you are most looking forward
to about coming to Australia this summer? Just having
the chance to be back there again and meeting people and hanging
out. I also really like the idea of skipping winter in the US.
Is there anything you "just have
to do" while you are in Australia? Go in the
ocean as often as possible.
If the rider fairy was to grant you
one wish, what would be awaiting you backstage at the festival..
Unlimited cigarettes and shrimp.
