THE BAND
How long has the band been going? Since January of 2009 we
played our first show in April 2009
Many lineup changes along the way? 2 guitar changes
How would you describe your sound to the average person on
the street? fun pop rock
What's your most recent release? Tell us a little about it...
Lights Out. It's our first single released off our debut EP "Guaranteed
To Disagree." Its a really fast tempo song. It's a lot of fun
to play live.
Got a favourite track that you have released so far?
Never Be What You Want is definitely my favorite.
OFF THE STAGE
What was your first introduction to music that made you think seriously
about playing it? I started playing violin when i 7. I then
started accompanying my Dad at local bars in Florida where he lived.
He sang and played guitar. It opened my eyes to what it could be like
to perform every night. I was hooked.
What was your first band name, and what style did you play?
My first band was called Reggie / Taylor. We couldn't think of a name
for the longest time so we kept it simple haha. It was an acoustic
project.
Most prized music related item you own? My Martin
acoustic. I went to the Martin guitar factory in Pennsylvania a few
weeks after I graduated high school with my Grandpa and he let me
pick one out for my graduation gift! I was so excited! It was awesome
to see the history of the company and how everything is produced.
We bring the acoustic on tour for acoustic shows and for writing.
It's my baby.
The thing you most look forward to just before a tour is...
All the different food chains I may run into! And of course playing
every day :)
The thing you least look forward to before a tour is...
The smell of the van.
When your not doing band related stuff, what are you usually
found doing? Hanging out with the guys. We have seperation
anxiety i think haha
ON THE STAGE / ROAD
Best rider item you've ever received without requesting it?
Panera Bread!
Most memorable show you've played? and why? We always
have an amazing time at The Brewery in North Carolina. The crowd is
always super supportive.
Most memorable show you've played? and why? My most
memorable shows are usually the ones at our home town Poughkeepsie
at The Chance.
Worst 'guilty pleasure' artist / song you've come across on
a bandmates iPod? It's probably my ipod. And its all
the 90's hits(Hanson, Hoku, Nsync, Dream, Natalie Imbruglia...) i
could go on naming them!
Who in your group has the worst “bad habit” on
tour, and what is it? I think collectively we are pretty
bad at keeping all of our belongings in one place.
RIGHT NOW
Where are you? In the van driving through Richmond
VA. I think we are going to a civil war museum!

These questions are always hard for me to answer! Today, I'd say Goo
Goo Dolls -Let Love In because it's currently playing.

albums from start to finish, what would it be, and why?
Joe Cocker because he rules.
If you could pick one band to re-unite so you could play a
one-off show with, who would it be, and why?
The Starting Line. They're a big influence to our band.
One big tour, you can take two currently active bands to support
you, who would you choose, and why?
Relient K and Jimmy Eat World. I could listen to them everyday! |
