OK, I really don't know how to make things
any clearer, but it appears we have to spell it out like a childrens
book for people who cannot follow the most simple instructions.
(apologies to those who can manage to get it right, sadly you
are in the minority!)
When submitting your gig, it MUST
be in the format below. Otherwise it gets deleted, we don't have
the time to fix up your errors.
STEP ONE - You've obviously seen
the gig guide, notice how everything is in the same format? That's
how you are going to send it in, or it's not going to get posted.
STEP TWO - Open your email, address
the email to gigs@bombshellzine.com
and make the subject "Gig Submission"
STEP THREE - Now give us the info! Here is an
example, feel free to copy it, paste it in, and change details
to suit. It's the easiest way to avoid messing it up!

MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT CHANGE THE
FORMAT THE SUBMISSION IS IN.
Correct = (14) Headliner
+ Support Act + Support Act + Support Act @ The Make Up Venue,
Newtown [18+]
Incorrect = 14th
January, Headliner, Support Act, MY BAND IN CAPS at The Make Up
Venue, Newtown - over 18s
Incorrect = (14)
MY BAND IN CAPS + Headliner + Support Act @ The Make Up Venue,
Newtown
I could go on for ages with the various formats we get them in..
but i won't.
Use the + between acts, not commas, make sure the lineup is in
the correct order, don't put your band name in CAPS, don't put
your band headlining if you are opening, don't send in any other
formats other than what's above, copy and paste the section above
in and you won't have problems, unless you are a dill and can't
even manage copy, paste, replace.
Also, please make sure the gig is relevant to the audience, in
case you missed the memo, we cover punk, rock, metal, alternative
music, not washed up 80's pop groups playing RSL's, boybands,
cover bands etc.
FURTHER PROMOTIONAL OPTIONS TO GET
YOUR GIG / TOUR NOTICED

for unsigned bands, we can do deals for the gig guide only, or
complete packages across the whole website. When contacting us,
