The Weight – ‘Prisoners Of The Flock’ pre-orders available
on October 5th, 2012Adelaide hardcore outfit The Weight will release their debut album ‘Prisoners Of The Flock‘ on November 9th through Clarity Records / Shock. Formed in 2009, with a clear goal in mind and a DIY ethic, The Weight introduced Australia to their formidable style of hardcore with their demo; a record of powerful, furious hardcore reflecting the ethos inherent in their title. They’ve shared stages with both international and local acts playing primarily all-ages gigs at independently booked venues. This year the band entered Capital Sound Studios in Adelaide to record these 12 tracks, for fans of bands such as Terror, Trapped Under Ice, No Warning and Cold World. It will be released on CD, LP and Digital formats. The vinyl version of the album will be strictly limited to 300 copies and comes in two colours, a limited gold vinyl with black splatter (100 copies), and a standard black (200 copies), all housed in a nice gatefold cover with a fold out poster of the full artwork.
