Parkway Drive ‘Atlas’ tour tickets on sale today
on August 22nd, 2012Last week Parkway Drive announced a huge run of shows throughout December in support of their forthcoming album ‘Atlas‘. The tour which will also feature I Killed The Prom Queen, Northlane and Survival, goes on sale today from 9am. The tour begins in Byron Bay and also stops in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. All shows are All Ages. The new album’s heightened ambition has led to plans for a more elaborate live show. “Everything has been enhanced,” says vocalist Winston McCall. “For the past ten years we’ve played with a backdrop, and the whole experience has been us. We’re trying something this time, and hopefully it makes people feel something different as well. It’s definitely going to be entertaining. There won’t be any dead spots. It’s the biggest tour we’ve ever done, and the fact that we’re keeping it all Australian means a lot to us and highlights how far the bands in this country have come“.
