on July 5th, 2012Jonah Matranga has been making music for over 20 years both as a solo artist and in many bands, names like Far, Gratitude, New End Original and onelinedrawing. The latter of which he has recently resurrected the moniker of for his live shows. “It just feels like home musically, and it’s more fun to put on merch than my name, which gets misspelled chronically in ads for shows anyway.” Jonah has embraced the changes in the industry over the years, and can boast a healthy relationship with his fans through his direct communication and understanding of his audience. Keeping his music and his shows affordable for all and continually having unique content to offer. The ‘Yard Sale‘ section of his website is a goldmine for fans. He’s played as many house shows as he has huge festivals, he’s collaborated with musicians from all genres, names like Frank Turner, The Weakerthans, Sepultura, Lupe Fiasco and loads more.
