Having explored the highways of New Zealand, Australia and South-East Asia for the past decade, Gold Coast outfit Not OK begin the next chapter of their journey with the release of their fourth album, ‘The Long Way Home‘ this weekend. Recorded at Brisbane’s Black Box Studios with Jeff Lovejoy, expect the band’s trademark hard-hitting anthemic punk-rock sound. Musically, the album is grounded in the cool groove of Social Distortion and the inescapably-rousing good-time tone of The Bouncing Souls. There are two launches coming up, you can catch them on Saturday July 7th at The Sando in Newtown with Deadwood 76, Eager 13 & Everything I Own Is Broken for ‘Sando Calling – A Tribute to The Clash‘. Then on Friday July 13th they head to Pony in Melbourne to join The Tearaways, The Bennies & Being Amazing. Head to their website [Here] for more info on the album and upcoming dates.
