Burning Love announce Australian tour dates
on May 15th, 2012Canada’s Burning Love have announced a run of Australian tour dates for this August. After the sudden demise of the now legendary Cursed, enigmatic frontman Chris Colohan picked right back up where the band last left us, but this time collaborating with the members of Our Father, to form Burning Love, a band that had a decidedly different musical approach and direction. While Cursed was intent on quickly ripping your face off, Burning Love lure you in with infectious hooks and full throttle blues before going in for the kill. Merge the darkness of Poison Idea, the melodic aspects of Queens of the Stone Age and the inspired high energy of the MC5, and Burning Love begins to come into focus. Following their previous full-length, in addition to a multitude of EPs and split releases and more since their 2008 inception, the band’s anticipated second LP, ‘Rotten Thing To Say‘ was recorded by Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou at Godcity Studio and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side. Licensed from Southern Lord Recordings ‘Rotten Thing To Say‘ will be released in Australia on June 22nd via Resist Records. Check out a track from it [Here].
