Anchor announce Australian tour dates
on January 21st, 2012Hailing from the metal and hardcore hotbed of Sweden / Norway, Anchor keep proving to be one of Europe’s most active and important hardcore bands with close to 300 shows in less than four years from countless European tours and two tours of North America. Following the release of their highly acclaimed album “Recovery” on Pee Records last year, Anchor are now set to add Australia to their extensive tour diary playing thirteen shows and covering five states in the first two weeks of March. Anchor bring a heavy, aggressive hardcore sound with howled vocals, not without its speed and urgency, taking cues from bands like Judge, Entombed and Verse. They are geared up to play alongside Baltimore’s Trapped Under Ice on four of their shows throughout their tour, and Gold Coast labelmates Promises will be joining them on the first leg of the tour.
