The new album from Into It. Over It is instores now via No Sleep Records / Shock. The album is titled ‘Proper‘ and follows 2010′s split with Andrew Shiraki. For those not familiar, Into It. Over It is a one man show, Evan Weiss plays all instruments on the album, it’s a full band sound, not a regular solo sound. Four years ago, Evan caught No Sleep Records attention with his 52 weeks project. Between September 2007 and September 2008, Evan wrote and recorded one track per week. Eventually released as a 2CD package by No Sleep in June 2009. The lyrical concepts of ‘Proper‘ and it’s all around aura stems from autobiographical and literal exemplifications which have taken place over the past year of Weiss’ life, most of which occurring in Chicago where he now resides. The album culminates in a heady yet straightforward melodic stew resembling Sunny Day Real Estate, Death Cab For Cutie and Dismemberment Plan to name a few.
