Mastodon to release Live At The Aragon
on February 14th, 2011Heavy rock outfit Mastodon are set to release a live CD/DVD entitled ‘Mastodon: Live At The Aragon‘ on March 11th. The set was filmed October 19th, 2009, at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago while touring in support of their much applauded album, ‘Crack The Skye‘. The band performs the album in full alongside fan favorites from ‘Blood Mountain‘ (2006) and ‘Leviathan‘ (2004) plus a cover of ‘The Bit” by the Melvins. The DVD contains the full 78 minute live set and a 58 minute tour film entitled ‘Crack the Skye: The Movie‘, and contains the films which were projected on screen, behind the band in performance.
