Brooklyn rock outfit The Hold Steady will be in the country very shortly playing a series of headline shows as well as a slot on the Golden Plains Festival in Victoria. The East coast run of dates starts on Tuesday 8th March at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, then onwards to Brisbane to play The Zoo on Wednesday 9th March before heading to Melbourne for their show at The Hi-Fi on Friday 11th March. They wrap things up at Golden Plains on March 12th. The band is here supporting 2010′s ‘Heaven Is Whenever‘ album which is out now via Vagrant Records / Shock. It has received rave reviews for continuing to show the scope, depth and heart they bring to chronicling the American rock myth. Thanks to Chugg Entertainment this week we have some double passes to give away to their three headline shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
