This year marks the 20th anniversary for Melbourne punk band Bodyjar. Last year they released new album ‘Role Model‘, their first studio release since 2005′s self-titled, they got busy again on the touring front, playing both regular, and special ‘No Touch Red‘ shows around the country to packed rooms. Speaking of packed, right now their bags are being packed up as they will head to Europe for the first time in ages next week. Sharing stages with ALL, MxPx, Descendents, and a spot on the massive Groezrock Festival where they share a stage with NoFx, Alkaline Trio, Brand New, Boysetsfire, The Lawrence Arms and more. The 20 year celebrations will continue in August with a just announced national tour on which they’ll be supported by good friends Samiam, Blueline Medic who make a rare venture out of Melbourne and up and comers Clowns. The shows will take place in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide with tickets going on sale Friday 2nd May. Mark down the date, as these shows will sell fast.
