Powered by YouTube, the app gives users access to thousands of songs from hundreds of hi-definition concerts at your fingertips. They’ll be playing what is arguably their best and most influential record, ‘Source Tags & Codes‘ in full followed by a set of highlights from their extensive back catalogue. The Amenta announce new tour dates

Sleep Parade – ’2:09′ track stream

Melbourne’s Sleep Parade have released the second single from their forthcoming album ‘Inside/Out‘ which will be released on May 31st. The track is titled ‘2:09‘ and you can stream it by pressing play below. It follows the recent release of the first single ‘Dancing With The Enemy‘ which is available [Here]. The album was produced by Forrester Savell and recorded at Sing Sing Studios in Melbourne. You can next catch the band on June 14th supporting Breaking Orbit at Revolver in Prahran.

Chixdiggit! celebrate 20 years with ‘Double Diggits!’

Canada’s Chixdiggit! celebrate 20 years as a band this year. Fat Wreck are helping them celebrate by releasing ‘Double Diggits!‘ in late July. The release compiles their albums ‘Born On the First of July‘ and ‘From Scene To Shining Scene‘ and gives them a makeover. Both albums were originally released on Fat’s skinnier counterpart Honest Don’s but never quite received the attention they deserved. There will also be 8 rare bonus tracks tacked onto the CD. Impending Doom begin recording new album

Southern California’s Impending Doom have entered The Machine Shop in Belleville, NJ to start working on their next LP with producer Will Putney. Bass player David Sittig weighs in with “The material is our best and heaviest work without a doubt. The chemistry between the five of us this time has been different and very unique. Our original guitarist Manny Contreras re-joined the band and we all could not be happier with what he has brought to the table. This is the Impending Doom album you have been waiting for!” This yet to be titled effort will follow up 2012′s ‘Baptized in Filth‘ album. A year ago, after a string of solo EPs, multi-instrumentalist Roxy Lavish (The Knives of Neptune) assembled The Suicide Cult, a constantly evolving big band made up of many Melbourne musicians. Now, with a bunch of shows under their belt, the band is preparing to unleash their debut album. ‘Join Us Or Die Alone‘ is a 9 song mixed bag of bluesy rock n roll and Brian Jonestown Massacre-esque stoner jams.
