Hot on the heels of the release of their single ‘Animal‘, Manchester band Spring King have announced their new album, ‘A Better Life‘, for release on August 17 via Dew Process / UMA.

Produced by the band’s drummer and vocalist, Tarek Musa, ‘A Better Life‘ takes its lead from the energy of ‘Animal‘ and is packed with a ton of heavy riffs, driving beats and barking vocals that all feed into the pulsating organism that is Spring King.

Wrap your ears around the latest track lifted from the album, ‘Us Vs Them‘ below.

A Better Life‘ will also be the band’s first since album their 2016 debut ‘Tell Me If You Like To‘, which put them firmly on the map as one of the premiere emerging rock acts out of the UK scene, thanks to its singles ‘City,’ ‘Who Are You?,’ ‘Rectifier‘ and ‘Detroit.

Animal‘ followed in suit upon its recent release, commanding international praise, you can check it out below if you missed it earlier.

WATCH

Of the track, Tarek says, “Animal takes its inspiration from our unshakable reliance on technology and how repetitive modern day existence has become. There is constant tension between human nature and technological progression: we are glued to technology, sometimes not sure how to let go, whilst simultaneously fighting the animalistic, hedonistic urge to unplug and completely lose ourselves.

Support for Spring King has historically been super strong in Australia. They stormed our shores in 2016 as part of a triumphant tour as part of Splendour In The Grass 2016 and a co-headline run with Philadelphia punks, and current Dew Process label mates, Beach Slang.

That was then, this is now, and in 2018 Spring King are ready to take you on a ride all over again.
