Late last year Streetlight Manifesto announced their long awaited return to Australia for this June.

It’s been almost seven years since the band’s last jaunt, and this time they’re bringing best mate Dan Potthast along for the ride. Local supports have just been announced too. See below.

With the tour starting to creep up now, we’ve got our hands on five tour posters to give away to you readers this week. All you need to enter, is a ticket to one of the shows. Send along some proof of purchase of a ticket (please blank out / cover up any personal information) to competitions@bombshellzine.com – subject ‘Streetlight Poster Comp’ and you’ll be in the running. You’ve got until end of Friday 20th April to get your entry in, so grab a ticket now if you are yet to do so. Winners will be contacted via e-mail on Monday 23rd April to arrange delivery of the prize.

One part rock, one part ska, with influences from latin, klezmer, folk, world, funk, jazz and classical thrown in, Streetlight Manifesto redefined what most people expected from a ska band.

Formed fifteen years ago in New Jersey as an ad hoc group intended to put out one album and disappear, one thing lead to another and within a few months of their debut release, ‘Everything Goes Numb‘, Streetlight Manifesto were officially a full time touring band, spreading their infectious and energetic tunes to all who would listen.

Seven guys, seven different musical backgrounds, seven different personalities, one band, one unique and unmistakable voice.
