Sydney band C.O.F.F.I.N (Children of Finland Fighting in Norway) are a 4 piece punk/rock/metal outfit from the Northern Beaches area forming in 2005 as schoolmates influenced by a huge love for music, skateboarding and a good-times-all-the-time attitude.

Over the years they developed their own sound, loosely described as Psychotic Skate-Punk or Aussie Pub-Thrash.

In 2011 their first album ‘Under the Influence‘ was released, recorded while still at High School, and in 2013 they recorded a 2nd album ‘Spring Break At The Asylum‘. Both albums were well received in the local scene and a wild local fan base bloomed.

Then in 2015 they took on the USA for the first time, before the next year recording an EP, ‘On the Gronk‘ and taking it on a lengthy tour of the UK, Europe and the USA.

2018 see C.O.F.F.I.N about to release a new full length album entitled ‘Piss~Up‘, recorded at the Pet Food Factory by Jason Whalley, mixed by Clem Bennett and mastered by Jason Livermore at the Blasting Room.

They’re celebrating this release with a 20+ show tour across Japan, South Korea and China and an extended tour of Australia shortly after. Details on that soon.

In the meantime you can catch them this Thursday night at Warehouse in Gosford, and Wednesday 14th in Canberra at Transit Bar. Both those shows with Straightline and Blind Man Death Stare.

Thursday 15th March they play The Reverence Hotel in Footscray and Friday 16th March at The Last Chance in Melbourne.
