Say Anything return to Australia this coming weekend on their ‘In Defense‘ Anniversary Tour, celebrating 10 years of their seminal album ‘In Defense Of The Genre‘. It will be the Los Angeles based outfit’s first visit to Australian shores in 4 years, and this time around they’re pulling no punches.

The band have locked in two nights in each Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, playing three classic albums across the nights. The first night will see the band perform ‘Is A Real Boy‘ and ‘In Defense Of The Genre‘ (Disc 1), while on the second, they will be performing ‘Self Titled‘ and ‘In Defense Of The Genre‘ (Disc 2).

On the upcoming tour, vocalist Max Bemis says,

Well, this should be the most epic series of shows we’ve ever put on in terms of the “legacy” of our early work. I predict all-out catharsis in these intimate settings and an awesome experience losing myself in the narrative of each of these albums played in their entirety.

Local supports have been announced, and limited tickets remain for the shows, so if you want in, get sorted while you still can.
