ARKONA TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM IN JANUARY
Russian pagan metal band Arkona are set to release their brand new album ‘Khram‘ on January 19th with Napalm Records, and have just unveiled a first teaser / album preview.

Get your ears on this first near five minute sneak peek featuring all tracks from the album below.

Arkona may have used sound samples in their early days, but nowadays cellos, brass parts, wind instruments and throat singing are recorded live meticulously and flow naturally into the band’s harsh metal tunes: King-sized songs effortlessly shift from blackened pagan metal to tracks with crystal-clear melodies and piano infusions.

Coming as CD Digi Pack, Digital Download and LP Gatefold editions, ‘Khram‘ is now available to pre-order [Here].

DAWN OF DISSOLUTION RELEASE NEW ALBUM
Houston metal band Dawn of Dissolution will release their second album ‘Prophecy of Oblivion‘ tomorrow independently.

In late 2014, Dawn of Dissolution, was born in the minds of two guitarists from the most northern reaches of Houston, Texas: Joseph Marduk and Andrew Carter. The music evolved from idea to reality when guttural growler Adrian Socaciu joined the project. The trio worked together to produce and release the band’s debut EP, ‘Nightfrost‘.

Approximately two years, after the original inception, Cole Jones, and Vincent Mennella completed the lineup. ‘Nightfrost‘ was well received both locally and abroad, and it was also critical in helping the band secure supporting slots with national acts touring through Houston including Overkill, Nile, Luca Turilli’s Rhapsody, Primal Fear, Sonata Arctica, Omnium Gatherum, and just this week Ne Obliviscaris.

Check out a video clip for the single ‘Advance To The Front Lines‘ from the new album.
