News Bits & Pieces

I PREVAIL RELEASE NEW VIDEO
I Prevail have released their video for ‘Already Dead‘, starring Tenacious D’s Kyle Gass.

Directed by Samuel Halleen, the video features Gass as a vengeful internet troll creating mayhem in the I Prevail world, intent on harassing them online. The band ultimately turns the tables on the social media evildoer as the story unfolds.

We wanted to make a video for ‘Already Dead’ because it gets a great reaction live and is so much fun to play. When Kyle Gass agreed to collaborate with us, it became a bucket list dream come true.

Watch the video below.

THE BEAUTIFUL GIRLS BACK ON THE STAGE THIS WEEKEND
It was 2002 when Australian roots rock trio The Beautiful Girls made their debut release ‘Morning Sun‘ – a melting pot of sunny surf sounds and refreshing reggae undertones – which established the band’s unique aesthetic. The title track quickly became a staple on triple j and, with the impetus of fan favourite ‘Periscopes‘, ‘Morning Sun‘ quickly climbed to Number 1 on the Australian Independent Album chart – staying there for months.

In 2003 The Beautiful Girls released the band’s first full length album, ‘Learn Yourself‘.

Numerous accolades and International tours later, The Beautiful Girls have chosen to pay homage to their roots by touring the songs from the ‘Morning Sun‘ EP and ‘Learn Yourself‘ album along with other selected crowd favourites from the extensive catalogue. Summer of 2017 / 2018 is the perfect time to celebrate the joint 15th anniversaries of these milestone releases.

The tour starts with a slot at Queenscliff Music Festival this weekend, then chases the waves around the country through December / January. Tickets are available. Dates below if you need reminding.
