Sydney post-punk outfit Oslow are back out on the road this weekend playing shows in Canberra this Saturday and Wollongong on Sunday in support of the recent single / video clip release for ‘Sewing‘, taken from their debut self-titled album.

The band will also visit Melbourne, Newcastle and Sydney on this run of shows. Full details, including supports further below.

Off the back of the success of 2015’s ‘No Longer Concerns Me‘ 7″, the four-piece released their long-awaited debut full-length ‘Oslow‘ in February this year to critical acclaim. In joining forces with producer/engineer Dylan Adams to record the album, Oslow honed their craft to exercise a more purposeful and deliberate method to their song writing.

The video for ‘Sewing‘ was filmed in the house where Oslow wrote most of their debut album, capturing the feel of lived in spaces, showing some of their home but as little of them as they could. On the single, singer Dylan Farrugia explains,

Sewing was a song that came together pretty quickly early on during the writing process. It was a fun song to write and really set the tone for a more pop-punk leaning record. The song is about letting your illness fester, to the point where you believe it defines your identity. Not being able to recognise what it means to be well or unwell.
