Melbourne locals Love Games have released their debut album, ‘Nothing Ever Moves You‘.

Forming in late 2014, the five-piece have come a long way. Setting their mark in the alternative music scene with the release of their EP ‘Wallflower‘ in October 2015, they have not stopped since, playing shows in iconic Melbourne venues along with writing their debut album.

Locking themselves in their home studio, friends Hugh Harris and Jackson Stacey on guitars, Daniel Brody playing bass, Josh Verbeek behind the drums with Matt Duncan fronting the Vocals, they have produced an album that will take your emotions for a ride. With love-stricken poetry accompanied by the ambient tones of the guitars, these are pop songs for a broken heart.

Give it a listen below.

Video clips for the singles ‘Raincoat‘ and ‘Sulk‘ were shared earlier in the year, you can suss those out below.

It is clear Love Games have taken some broad influences from bands like Balance and Composure and Turnover, whilst channelling The Cure into the mix.

Keep an eye out for launch shows soon.
