We were planning a pretty quiet Summer on the Bombshell Presents front, like your wallets we could do with a break, however when Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes want to come visit, and bring Cancer Bats with them, you just can’t say no can you? If you aren’t already all over it, suss the details [Here]. Tickets go on sale Thursday at 9am.

It’s a well earned night off for Pennywise on their ‘Full Circle‘ Australian tour. All the shows so far have sold out, and turned venues into a sweaty mess. Workhorses The Bronx don’t care for a night off and will treat those who snapped up tickets in Sydney (It’s long sold out) to their headline show at Oxford Art Factory tonight.

Tuesday night the Full Circle tour resumes and lands at NEX in Newcastle with local guests Rage. Get tickets [Here]. Thursday night is in Adelaide and Friday in Fremantle. Don’t miss out. Sort tickets before they go the way of all shows so far.PennywiseNews Bits & Pieces

GOLD KEY RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM
Gold Key have released a twelve track debut album titled ‘Hello, Phantom‘.

Gold Key is a project formed in 2016, when Laurent Barnard and Steve Sears decided it was time to make a record together. Not only were the two old school friends but in the last few years Steve had produced two albums for Barnard’s punk band, Gallows. Soon, local drummer Jack Kenny (Nervus / Blackhole) joined, and was followed by James Leach of Sikth to complete the line-up.

Music is a funny thing. One moment you’re together in the van playing rock festivals in Europe, the next you’re back at home itching to create something new. While everyone in Gallows were busy living their lives in different continents, I decided to team up with my friend Steve Sears to make something. (You might know Steve Sears as the producer of the last two Gallows records). What we’ve created is a band is called Gold Key and our debut album ‘Hello, Phantom’ has just come out. It would be awesome if you could check it out and hit us up on social media if you like what you hear!

Listen to the album below.

HIKES SHARE VIDEO FOR ‘ONSET’
Experimental, Indie Math-Rock band Hikes from Texas have released a new video clip for their track ‘Onset‘.

The track is lifted from their four track effort ‘Lilt‘ released earlier this year on Community Records.

A second vinyl pressing of ‘Lilt‘ has just been released and can be ordered online [Here]. Stream the EP and watch the new video clip below.

HANG TIGHT RELEASE ‘GRIND’ EP
New Jersey pop punk band Hang Tight have released their debut EP, ‘Grind‘ via Standby Records.

Listen to the EP, and watch a video clip for the opening track ‘The Rents‘ below.

If you like what you hear, purchase on iTunes [Here].
