The Movielife have released another taste of their forthcoming album in the form of the track ‘Ghosts in the Photographs‘.

Their new (and return) album, ‘Cities In Search Of A Heart‘ will be released on September 22nd via Rise Records.

This new track is the second track revealed from the album, if you missed it earlier, stream ‘Mercy Is Asleep At The Wheel[Here].

Album pre-orders are available [Here]. Stream that new song below.

FIRST SIGNS OF FROST RELEASE NEW EP
London’s First Signs Of Frost have release their new EP ‘The Shape Of Things To Come‘ via Basick Records.

It is the first release from the band since they resurfaced in 2015. Drawing influence from the likes of Deftones, Tool and Glassjaw, the band now have a fresh line-up and a new lease of life, expanding and moulding their sound to showcase more groove and ambience than ever before.

Give the EP a listen below.

MAJORA SHARE FIRST TASTE OF NEW EP
Majora are makers of beautifully heavy music – instrumental pieces crafted with care and intricacy that take the listener on deep journeys of introspect and bliss. They return to the fore with new single ‘Aphotic‘, the first taste of a new EP of the same name, due for release Friday September 15th through Bird’s Robe Records.

This, their second EP, ‘Aphotic‘ saw the band working with highly acclaimed engineers Dax Liniere and Forrester Savell on the mixing and production.

Mike Solo, head of Bird’s Robe said;

I am very excited to have Majora on the label – it can’t be said enough that they are part of an exciting new breed of instrumental and progressive music coming out of Australia – and this is a great first project to work on together.

A film clip for the title track ‘Aphotic‘ was shot and directed by Tim Grove. Watch it below.

THE WORLD IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE… SHARE NEW SINGLE
The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid To Die recently announced the forthcoming release of their third full-length, ‘Always Foreign‘. Due out September 29th on Epitaph. ‘Always Foreign‘ follows the Connecticut-bred collective’s acclaimed 2015 album ‘Harmlessness‘.

You can now listen to the lead single, ‘Dillon and Her Son‘ below. One of the album’s most blatantly upbeat tracks, ‘Dillon and Her Son‘ speaks out against “getting older and becoming the kind of person who resents younger people for having fun and doing something new,” according to bassist/vocalist Joshua Cyr.

Album pre-orders are available now locally in the Epitaph Webstore on Artist First [Here].

SIKTH SHARE NEW MUSIC VIDEO
The latest studio album from SikTh, ‘The Future In Whose Eyes?‘ was released earlier this year and was the first Sikth album to feature a guest vocalist.

After being invited to join Periphery on a US tour in 2016, vocalist Mikee W Goodman and Periphery singer Spencer Sotelo began to hatch a plan that would lead to Sotelo travelling to the UK to record the song ‘Cracks Of Light‘ with Goodman at R&R Studios in Uxbridge.

2017 saw Periphery touring in the UK, and the chance for Mikee, not only perform with Periphery during their London headline show, but film Sotelo for the video for ‘Cracks Of Light‘.

Mikee recalls the shoot;

I met up with Spencer in Manchester, we literally found a cloak room, put a white sheet up and got the shots. Very DIY but it looks great! I think it came out really well, the black and white vibe is cool.

Watch the result below. ‘The Future In Whose Eyes?‘ is in-stores and online now.
