LE BUTCHERETTES ANNOUNCE SYDNEY HEADLINE SHOW
Tex-mex garage punk band Le Butcherettes will be bringing their sophisticated punk’n’roll to Australian stages this September/October to support fellow Texans At The Drive In at their Brisbane, Sydney & Melbourne shows, as well as making their debut performance at Yours & Owls Festival.

Now they have announced a one-off headline performance at Sydney’s Lansdowne Hotel on September 30 as part of the Rolling Stone Live Lodge. Tickets go on sale 9am tomorrow via Oztix.

Led by the enigmatic Teri Gender Bender, Le Butcherettes are more than qualified to unleash their garage punk goodness on to the good people of Sydney, having toured with some of the biggest artists in the game including Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jack White, Queens of the Stone Age and played both Coachella and Lollapalooza. Their albums have seen collaborations with Henry Rollins, Shirley Manson and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez.

THE DARKNESS SHARE NEW MUSIC VIDEO
The Darkness have shared a music video for their single ‘All The Pretty Girls‘.

The song will appear on their forthcoming album ‘Pinewood Smile‘ which will be released October 6th via Cooking Vinyl. You can pre-order the album [Here].

Introducing the video in his own inimitable manner, frontman Justin Hawkins proclaims,

Dear People of the Internet. We have made this excellent video to distract you from the humdrum banality of existence. By looking at film of The Darkness preening and cavorting, you will be transported to an unattainable world of awesomeness. Furthermore, we recommend that you purchase our new record album, for which the above video serves as an amuse-bouche. Enjoy!

The video finds the band performing along the beautifully overcast Cornish shoreline. They embrace the typical British summer by rocking out whilst playing tennis, going on a band banana boat ride, travelling on a tractor and even attempting guitar solos while surfing, amongst other suitably seaside-like japes.

Watch it below.

GONE IS GONE RELEASE ‘ECHOLOCATION’ VIDEO CLIP
Gone Is Gone have released a video clip for ‘Echolocation‘, the title track from their debut album.

The video is inspired by Gibsonton, Florida, the famous wintering and retirement home of traveling sideshow carnies. That’s the backdrop for this cautionary tale about two punks out on an adventure ride. Through a series of events, the mischievous energy they exert returns full circle, eventually leading to their own demise.

Give it a look below. The album is available on iTunes [Here].
