US metal band Miss May I have announced their return to Australia this November.

A staple of the global metal circuit since their formation in 2007, Miss May I have gone from strength to strength throughout their decade-long career, with their 2015 effort, ‘Deathless‘, peaking at #5 on the US rock charts.

Shadows Inside‘ is the group’s latest release, one that signals a separation from long-time label Rise in favour of the upstart SharpTone Records, the latest venture from Nuclear Blast CEO Markus Staiger and former VP of Sumerian Records, Shawn Keith.

Described by the band themselves as a monster riff-fest and forcefully vocal driven, ‘Shadows Inside‘ is the Ohio-based outfit’s most challenging body of work to date, an album that is as raw, authentic and vital as anything else the genre has offered up this year.

Support comes in the form of eclectic New York quartet, Sylar, who are currently doing a stint on the US edition of the Vans Warped Tour. Branded as nu metal revivalists, Sylar’s sound is a layered and genre traversing affair that brandishes its love of hip hop, hard rock, electronica and metal proudly. Recently signing to the esteemed Hopeless Records, Sylar enlisted the production talents of Erik Ron (Escape The Fate, I Prevail and Hands Like Houses) for their second release, ‘Help!

Tickets for the tour will go on sale 9am this Wednesday 19th July. Dates and venues below.
