TIGERS JAW – ‘JUNE’ VIDEO CLIP

Directed by Ben Carey, you can watch the clip below.

CASCADES SHARE SECOND SINGLE FROM DEBUT ALBUM
Whitewater‘, the second single from Cascades‘ forthcoming debut album can now be heard via a video clip. The album is due out on 4th July. Pre-orders are available [Here].

Several years ago, while wandering around an abandoned warehouse in Melbourne’s inner north, CascadesSam Filmer came across a box of dusty old video tapes. After screening the tapes, Sam discovered hours of transferred 16mm footage from Melbourne and surrounds, from what looks like the 1950s and ’60s.

The footage, shot by an unknown cameraperson, has the marks of a photographer or artist’s hand. Colour and composition are incredible, and give us a unique insight into a long-gone period of Australian history, at times sunny and hopeful, and at other times dark and foreboding.

None of the footage has been altered, colour corrected, or manipulated besides being edited together.

If any viewers have a connection to the footage, or are able to identify any of the people that appear, please let the band know via cascadesbandau@gmail.com so they can supply the footage to the family members in the video.

Check it out below.

SHAMAN’S HARVEST RELEASE NEW SINGLE
American rock band Shaman’s Harvest have announced details of their new album, ‘Red Hands Black Deeds‘ for July 28th on Mascot Recordings.

This will be their sixth studio album and sees Shaman’s Harvest move into new territory. Sonically, there’s an emphasis on using organic sounds and analogue vintage gear. Thematically, the band tackles the current political, social, and economic struggles the USA is facing as a nation under the new administration. Written during the 2016 presidential election cycle, there is a is a darker, visceral, and more layered sound permeating throughout.

Listen to the first single, and watch a trailer for the album now below.

MASS SKY RAID – ‘CLOSER’ VIDEO CLIP
Mass Sky Raid have today released their new single and very first video, ‘Closer‘.

To go along with the release of the track, they are also announcing two launch shows in July.

Saturday 15th July at The Zoo in Brisbane will see them joined by He Danced Ivy, Rival Fire, These Four Walls and Dollarosa, while Friday 21st July is at Shark Bar on the Gold Coast with These Four Walls and Chelsea Rockwells.
