News Bits & Pieces

PRESS CLUB SINGLE LAUNCH & VIDEO CLIP
Melbourne’s Press Club will launch their new single ‘Headwreck‘ at The Old Bar in Fitzroy on Saturday 8th July alongside Darts and Rad Island.

A video clip for the single has been released and can be seen below.

Shot in a Collingwood warehouse, the video for ‘Headwreck‘ saw the band enlist the help of two mates, Nick Manuell and Will Maconachie, to create a video that captures the band’s brash energy and embody how the song was recorded: live and in one take.

Press Club is vocalist Natalie Foster, guitarist and engineer Greg Rietwyk, bassist Iain Macrae and drummer Frank Lees. A brand new band in town, Press Club have only played a handful of shows, supporting West TheBarton Brothel Party, The Pretty Littles and Tired Lion.

THE MIS-MADE ANNOUNCE NEW SINGLE LAUNCH TOUR
After a busy 2016, The Mis-Made are continuing on from the release of their Double B-Side Single with another installment from their upcoming debut album, ‘Changeling‘ (produced by Lachlan Mitchell) which is due out in July through MGM distribution.

Their latest single ‘She Rips Me Open‘ will be accompanied by an animation film clip produced by Kirsten T Smith who worked with the band in 2014 on the ‘Avalanche‘ clip and shows another side to The Mis-Made repertoire. Being more experimental and leaning toward the melodic dark nature of the bands eclectic set list, ‘She Rips Me Open‘ includes a guest appearance from violinist Hannah Cook Edwards and will be available in early June in both physical and digital format.

To launch the single, The Mis-Made will be hitting the road through June-July in support of the new single before heading back to the UK and Europe starting with Rebellion Punk Festival in Blackpool and then a string of their own shows including, Germany, UK, Hungary, Serbia, Czech Republic and more.
