News Bits & Pieces

After smashing through their second European tour. Melbourne’s Dirt River Radio are launching their third album ‘Sun City White‘ at the Ding Dong Lounge on April 29th. Guests are Oolluu and Machine Gun Tongues.

The Dirties are renowned for their wildly volatile and no punches pulled live shows and are a band not be missed. The new album see’s the best incarnation yet with founding members Alex Raunjak & Heath Brady joined by drummer Matti Bray & bass player vocalist Ant Casey. Long standing backing vocalists Kellie Fernando-Bird & Sarah Fagan are featured on the new record like never before seeing the 6 piece reinvent themselves into a world travelling rock n roll outfit.

The band is fast approaching its 300th show and with 2 European tours under its belt, festival appearances such as Deni Blues and Roots and supports with seminal names such as Jim Ward the band shows no signs of letting up or compromise their “as long as it’s the truth” mentality.

You can pre-order the new album [Here] and listen to the first single ‘The Cocksucking Blues‘ below.

Germany’s Kreator will team up with Poland’s Vader for an Australian tour this September.

Since the 1980’s Kreator have been unleashing powerful slabs of thrash-metal upon fans, and 2017 sees no letup in the onslaught, with the band’s latest effort, ‘Gods Of Violence’ receiving some of the best reviews in the band’s career.

Vader return to Australia after 7 long years between drinks. Their brand of brutal savagery has stood the test of time, unleashing over three decades of unrelenting riffs and delightfully hellish ferocity.

Sunshine Coast metal five piece Holistic have just released their latest single ‘A Beautiful Indifference‘, along with a new clip for the track which can be seen below.

The song is a preview of what is to come from the band, as they work towards their debut full length album release, slated for later this year.

Vocalist Steven Polwarth comments;

The track is basically about feeling trapped in a monotonous whirlwind, feeling like everyday is the same and you feel like nothing excites you anymore, and then coming to realise this train of thought is pushing people away and that something needs to change within you to be more grateful for the things you have and for the people around you.
