A fierce femme-fatale foursome who explode with quirky, indie-punk songs and a penchant for sharing toothbrushes and tinnies, The Tommyhawks, release a new single ‘Bedroom‘ and head out on tour from Perth through Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Bedroom‘ is the first single from the band’s forthcoming ‘This Is Not A Desert Island‘ EP. The track explores the vulnerability of the mind. It is about finding the place between childhood and adulthood that certain things might have broken, and other things have healed.

Together for barely three years The Tommyhawks have played over 20 festivals across the country and are renowned for their live performances. There’s a sweet spot between rollicking folk melodies and punk- infused blues; and The Tommyhawks have found it.

The band sold out of both pressings of their 2015 debut EP ‘We’re All Meat and We’re Gonna Get Eat‘ and released their second EP ‘Hurling Stones and Sticks‘ in 2016 to a sold out Perth launch, and single ‘Hollow‘ was nominated for the West Australian Music AwardsSong of The Year 2016.
