DWARVES ANNOUNCE AUSTRALIAN TOUR
Throughout the 1990’s and 2000’s the Dwarves chaotic shows and incendiary interviews drew the attention of both underground and mainstream press and their bad reputation made them the band that simply would not die. While the faint-hearted withered in their seats, real rock fans squirmed with delight. And they’ve been squirming ever since.

Now the Dwarves are back in Australia to warp a new generation. Tickets are on sale right away for these six headline shows.

BLACKEN OPEN AIR LINE UP ANNOUNCEMENT
The monster lineup for BLACKEN Open Air has been announced, boasting 30 bands from every corner of the country. Now in it’s fifth incarnation, the event inspires an annual pilgrimage into the heart of Australia.

International touring acts including Desecrator, Whoretopsy and Truth Corroded join the NT’s biggest bands such as The Horror, Miazma and Southeast Desert Metal.

The two day and night heavy metal camping event takes place over the Easter long weekend. The venue features two stages, two bars and two swimming pools. A fully-equipped campground, a skate ramp, street-art demos and food trucks are also on-site.

SHE-RIFF ANNOUNCES NEXT CANBERRA EVENT
Affectionately named after a Magic Dirt song, ‘She-Riff‘ is an event to showcase Canberra’s talented female musicians. Hosted by Transit Bar, the event provides both a performance space for female musicians and a show Canberra folk can go to that’s all about the women in music.

The next She-Riff event is on Saturday 25th February and features The Colours Are, Sally Chicane, Rumblr and Dalmacia.

NEUROSIS BEGIN AUSTRALIAN TOUR TOMORROW
Neurosis continues to traverse the globe performing the songs from their lauded eleventh studio album, ‘Fires Within Fires‘, with Australian dates happening this week in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.

Support for the three Australian performances will be provided by Dispossessed.

THE OCEAN SHARE A LIVE VIDEO
German post-metal act The Ocean has started work on a new album, to follow-up their latest release: 2015’s split EP with Japanese post-rock band Mono, entitled ‘Transcendental‘.

In anticipation of the upcoming full-length record, The Ocean has launched a new live video for the track ‘Rhyacian‘, which is taken from 2007’s ‘Precambrian‘.

Filmed at the Brick by Brick in San Diego, CA, the video can be viewed below.
